Elevate was founded by physicians who understand the challenges of navigating patient care firsthand. One of our founders is an endocrinologist who saw how difficult it was for her patients to access the ancillary care they needed. The process was frustrating: patients were handed a referral to specialists with patients or front desk staff then having to call around to check for appointment availability and confirm insurance coverage. It was often impossible to obtain timely appointments and she had no way of knowing whether they ever received the care they needed.
Patient coordination is broken, and we knew there had to be a better answer. That’s why we built Elevate.
